The AquaTex™ AO (Advanced Oxidation) was developed to treat black water and grey water in the cruise ship industry. It has an advanced oxidation reactor system followed by ultraviolet light chamber allowing for complete disinfection of the waste stream. WRI has contractually maintained the ability to manufacture and sell this patent-pending technology, for utilization in industrial applications.

The design objective of this new system was to clean the reclaim water to a specification allowing for re-introduction into the intake of the water stream or discharge after treatment with substantial removal of BOD. In order to meet this objective, water is filtered to a submicron level, run through the oxidation chamber, and then disinfected for reclaim or discharge.
