Business Case - Aqua Tex™ SBR (Sequence Batch Reactor) has been successfully used to treat municipal, marine and industrial wastewaters. The Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) is an activated sludge process designed to operate under non-steady state conditions. It is uniquely suited for treatment applications characterized by high organics content and low or intermittent flow conditions.

Technology - AquaTex™ SBR is a fill-and-draw activated sludge system for wastewater treatment. Wastewater is added to a single batch reactor, treated to remove undesirable content, and then discharged. Equalization, aeration, and clarification can be achieved using a single batch reactor. To optimize the performance of the system, two or more batch reactors are used in a predetermined sequence of operations. AquaTex"! SBR performs equalization, biological treatment, and secondary clarification in a single tank using a timed control sequence. It can also be designed to allow flow water to be channeled for additional advanced treatment prior to recycling or beneficial reuse.
