The first shoots of the Cicil War were heard at Manassas
On July 20, 1861.
Looking down the barrel of this union cannon at
confederate positions during the early hours of the fith at Henry's
Hill
At the height of this early battle, General Bee
attempting to hold his green confederate troops on the line points to
General Jackson and
shouts " Thers Stands Jackson like a stone
wall.......Rally behind the Virginians "
And from that day forward he was known as "Stonewall
Jackson"
Jackson famous pose was on this spot in July 1861.

Mrs. Judith Caeter Henry, She is the first civilian to be
killed in the Cicil War. She will not be the last...
